~ HOW IT STARTED ~

Barbara Osgood Designs was created in the late summer of 1990, allowing me to be a Work At Home Mom to my daughter and assorted pets. I have been selling my SweetPeas brand of hairbows via retail and wholesale since that time. A few years ago, my business expanded to the point where I had to discontinue the wholesale side in order to be able to ship retail orders in a reasonable amount of time. I do *everything*, product design, manufacturing, bookkeeping, ordering supplies, and creating the website and trying to keep it up to date. As a result, you can expect great customer service, and some of my customers have become friends.

~ PRODUCTS ~

Everything I make is almost always individually handcrafted to your order. It is very rare for me to have a bow with the exact style, color, and hardware here in stock when you order it. Because I am the only one making the bows, you can expect consistently high-quality items. Many of the bows can be made larger or smaller than shown and many times customers end up designing their own bows by asking for hairbows using elements from different styles.

I do tend to be a perfectionist, so you should be happy with the quality of my products. The ribbon ends of the bows are seared so they will not fray. (Okay, I may miss an end or two on the curly bows!) I know of many customers who have had my bows for years and they are still in great shape.

If you order one of my bows and you feel it has become damaged due to my craftsmanship, you may send it back and receive a new one or a similar replacement bow if original item is no longer available.
